Stephen White is Associate Professor of Political Science at Carleton University. He studies Canadian and comparative public opinion and political behaviour, especially immigrant political participation and attitudes toward immigration and diversity. His research appears in Political Geography, Political Behavior, International Migration, and Ethnic and Racial Studies. Current projects examine how party strategies and local contexts shape immigrants’ civic engagement in Canada and beyond, and how national pride relates to views on immigration and multiculturalism.
